Audrey Muck sings, plays bass and sometimes flute in OverReaction Jackson.

She started playing bass with the all-female group, She Says, in Columbia, SC in the ‘90’s. They released a full-length CD “All the Best Intentions” and toured around the Southeast. At the same time she was playing flute and singing in various bands with Eric.

She fell in love with the flute at age 5, and when her dad gave her a copy of Jethro Tull’s “Aqualung” in her teens, it literally changed her life! One of her favorite flute shows was the Jethro Tull tribute with Winston-Salem’s Vagabond Saints Society; she says, “I waited my whole life for that gig!”

  • First album: Cat Stevens, Tea for the Tillerman. I asked the hippie at the barn in New Hampshire to play it so many times he got sick of it and gave it to me.
  • First band: The Blarney Pilgrims in Athens, OH. We played Celtic folk music, we were paid with pitchers of Guinness Stout.
